Dr. Thrasher explains his path from playing football at Ohio State University to studying farm animal and equine medicine, then serving in the U.S. Army, where he fought brucellosis and other cattle diseases at Fort Huachuca. He describes decades managing ranching operations in Nevada, Texas, and Arizona, plus 13 years helping Mexican ranchers spay cattle for export to the United States.
