Tioga Wins On Homecoming Over Divide County
The Maroons started out the game with two very promising 15-yard runs. However, the drive would soon be derailed after Tioga's Hunter Davis stuffed a fourth down attempt for Divide County.
The Pirates rushing attack led them down the field on their initial drive. Senior running back Dominic Fosburgh capped off Tioga's first offensive drive with his first rushing touchdown of the night.
Tioga's quarterback, Kasey Odegaard, had a career night on both sides of the ball. He picked up two tackles for losses early in the first half, and he also scored two rushing touchdowns. Senior receiver Hunter Davis added another rushing TD, as Tioga led 30-0 heading into the halftime break.
Tioga lost a fumble on their first possession of the second half, but quickly regained possession after Kasey Odegaard forced a fumble on their first defensive play of the third quarter. The Pirates marched right back down the field and Dominic Fosburgh added six more points to the scoreboard for Tioga.
The Pirates added one final touchdown in the fourth quarter, as Hunter Davis got his second rushing touchdown of the night. The Pirates had over 400 total yards and six rushing touchdowns in their 44-0 victory.
Divide County falls to 0-6 in 2023, and Tioga is now 2-4.
