Rodeo Season Heads to Lisbon

With only three rodeos left in the NDRA season, a lot can be settled in Lisbon tonight on BEK TV at 6:50 PM. Six of the year-end championship races sit within 45 points or less at the top. Not to mention, time is running out for those who wish to break into the top 12 and qualify for the NDRA Finals in Watford City Sept. 22-23.

In the ladies’ breakaway, Kiarra Reis has a slight 35 point lead in over Jessica Magilke in second place. In the saddle bronc riding, just five points separate Cole Patenaude from Take Eck. The barrel racing is close as well, with Kenzie Pennington clinging to a 20-point advantage over Amanda Lundquist.

The bull riding has been wide open throughout the season with five different cowboys having occupied the top spot. John Jacobs is the newest leader, edging ten points ahead of Karter Kuhn.
