Local Women Launch Unique Gym and Craft Collaboration
Mind and Body Boxing began after owner Kayla Klemmetson, a fitness coach began boxing in 2018. She realized the trend was to box, but mostly without boxing mitts. She added some equipment and taught classes outdoors until she had built her business to the point she could have a facility and teach boxing to all ages and groups--including families with children. Today Kayla uses battle ropes, boxing bags and boxing gloves, and teaches boxing for everyone at her facility in downtown Bismarck.
Dee's Designs began when Dee Pritschet began making custom greeting cards with stamps, embellishments, and embossing. She then watched videos to learn how to create trivets (a flat base of some sort onto which you can place a hot serving dish to protect a table or surface) with paints and resins. This led to the creation of earrings and jewelry, and after a customer commented her earrings reminded him of fishing lures, Dee pivoted and began creating those as well!
