Jamestown Volleyball Visits St. Mary's
It's shaping up to be another exciting Thursday night of volleyball on BEK Sports. Three games are on the schedule, including a WDA conference battle and a rivalry out in Region 8. Here is a preview of what's to come:
Jamestown @ St. Mary's -- 5:45 PM on BEK TV
Two teams that made the state tournament last season square off in Bismarck to start off the evening. The Blue Jays are off to a 6-3 start including a 2-point win over Minot in the WDA Standings. Led by senior outside hitter MaKenna Nold, coach Sara Hegerle's team prides itself on relentless defense.
Coach Erica Trom's St. Mary's Saints enter this contest off to a slow 2-8 start. Led by returners Lexi Gerving and Mataya Messer, they will look to turn their season around in front of their home crowd on Homecoming Week.

Oakes @ LaMoure-LM -- 7:30 PM on BEK Sports 2.
The Tornadoes won a five-set thriller on Tuesday night against Sargent County after dropping the first two. They'll face a stiff road test against LaMoure-LM, who is off to a 6-2 start.
New Town @ Parshall -- 7:00 PM on BEK Sports 3
New Town comes in with a 1-2 record after losing two matches in a row. New Town is led by first-year head coach Shay Miller, who was a standout as a New Town Eagle in her playing career.
Parshall comes in with an 0-2 record so far in 2023. The Braves are a young team with just two returning starters from last season. Parshall is led by second-year head coach and former standout player, Larissa Huus.
