Investigating School Ideology and A Powerful Story of Redemption

Lui argues the American School Counselor Association (ASCA) has quietly pushed DEI, anti-racist, and pro-transgender policies into K–12 school counseling across the nation. He warns that this “student-centered” mental health system actually acts as a uniform ideological pipeline that influences children’s beliefs, identity, and worldview—no matter what state they live in. Lui asks a key question: Are public schools focused on student well-being or pushing a political agenda?

Later, filmmaker Yelena Popovic joins the show to discuss her new film Moses the Black, inspired by the true fourth-century story of St. Moses the Black, an outlaw who became a saint. Set in modern-day Chicago, the movie follows Malik, a gang leader seeking revenge after prison, who instead finds an unexpected path toward faith, transformation, and redemption. Executive produced by Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and backed by a strong cast, Popovic describes the film as raw, intense, and deeply human. Moses the Black hits theaters nationwide on January 30, 2026, distributed by Fathom Entertainment.

This episode gives viewers a bold look at the cultural battles inside America’s schools and a gripping story that proves even the most broken lives can be redeemed.
