Inspiring Minds and Telling North Dakota Stories on Film

Instead of handing people answers, We Teach Think challenges communities to think deeply about what strengthens society and what destroys it. Angela also breaks down their major campaign, Human From Day One, along with community billboards, multi-generational workshops, and strategic messaging designed to interrupt apathy and inspire self-reflection.

Later in the show, the focus shifts to filmmaking with Bismarck’s own Daniel Bielinski of Canticle Productions. As Chair of Dramatic Arts at the University of Mary, Daniel shares his incredible journey of building a film company with no industry background—driven by vision, grit, and faith. His newest film, Hazel’s Heart, based on the true survival story of 16-year-old Hazel Miner in the deadly 1920 North Dakota blizzard, is now streaming nationwide on Apple TV, Amazon Prime, and Angel Studios. Daniel also teases his next feature, Medora, a dramatic true story set in the Dakota Territory in 1883. His message to dreamers is clear: start where you are, learn as you go, and don’t wait for perfect conditions. This uplifting episode showcases bold ideas, creative storytelling, and the unstoppable North Dakota spirit that shines on BEK TV.
