Inside the Minneapolis Shooting: Scott Hennen Breaks Down the ICE and ICU Nurse Incident

The 37-year-old nurse, identified as Alex Pretti, was fatally shot by a Border Patrol agent during a federal immigration enforcement operation that has sparked intense protests, legal challenges, and national debate over federal agency conduct and use of force. Local officials, witnesses and video footage have challenged the federal account of the incident, and now investigations and calls for transparency are growing across the country.

Later in the show, Scott is joined by guest Ed Schaffer to discuss the unfolding situation, the community’s response, and what this shooting means for Minnesotans and the nation as immigration operations continue. The conversation is deep, direct, and focused on accountability and public safety. Scott and Ed then open the phone lines and take calls from listeners, letting people from all over weigh in with firsthand opinions, questions, and reactions to this breaking story.
