Twitter's Trust Issues, Republican Primary Debates, and Trump's Need for Accountability

The Stew Peters Show dives into the risks associated with putting too much trust in tech giants like Elon Musk and platforms like Twitter. With Twitter's reputation as a "free" social media platform, many people overlook the fact that the platform is governed by a former WEF member, Linda Yaccarino, who has been known to discriminate based on political beliefs. Twitter's new verification process for X Blue subscribers raises concerns, as users are required to submit government-issued IDs and selfies, which are sent to an Israel-owned software company. Nate Fischer, CEO of New Founding, shares his expertise on social media and AI in the discussion.

The show also addresses the upcoming Republican Primary Debates and the need for a candidate who will challenge Trump on the critical issue of the Covid response. The 2020 Covid response had far-reaching consequences, and Trump's handling of the situation has been criticized. However, it seems unlikely that candidate Vivek Ramaswamy will be the one to take Trump to task on this issue, given his ties to Big Pharma and Jared Kushner.

Lawless youth are becoming a growing concern, particularly in cities like Atlanta and NYC, where massive street takeovers and gatherings have turned violent. Democrats had called for less stringent law enforcement, and now the consequences are apparent. Dan Lyman, from Board Hawk, provides insight into the rising chaos.

Polls indicate that Trump is still the frontrunner for the Republican nomination, but concerns arise as Ramaswamy gains favor alongside other establishment Republican candidates. The show explores the strengths and weaknesses of potential candidates, highlighting Trump's economic achievements, Ramaswamy's anti-woke agenda, and RFK Jr.'s questions about vaccines. Trump needs to address his previous statements about the vaccine and Operation Warp Speed if he wants to regain trust. Pete Santilli joins the show to discuss these issues further.

Lastly, the show questions Trump's decision to skip the Republican debates, despite leading in the polls. The 77-year-old Trump's inactivity contrasts with his previous hustling and constant presence on social media. Instead, he will be interviewed by Tucker Carlson, who must confront Trump with critical questions about his previous actions, including the Covid response, the border wall, and other key issues. Trump needs to demonstrate that he has learned from his past mistakes and is ready to lead in the future.

A summary of Twitter's change to X, update as of Nov 26th:

In late July, Elon Musk transformed the well-known Twitter into 'X,' signifying a major brand evolution. Originally a platform for short, 140-character messages, it has expanded to include extensive video content and more. Musk's vision for X is to create a super app, transcending typical social media functions to incorporate messaging, banking, shopping, and other services, emulating China's WeChat.

X differentiates from Twitter by offering a comprehensive digital experience. Twitter already has capabilities like live audio, extended text messages, and video broadcasting. X aims to further enhance user engagement, possibly sharing subscription revenue in the future

X Premium, the platform's subscription service, is tiered into Basic, Premium, and Premium+. Each level offers more features like post editing, extended posts and video uploads, and customization options.

This month X faced a major challenge, as internal documents reveal potential revenue loss with companies like Airbnb, Coca-Cola, and Microsoft pausing advertisements following Musk's controversial statements of an antisemitic conspiracy theory.
