Presidential Debate, Hunter Biden, and the Constitution on Ladies of Another View

The Ladies of Another View are currently engaging in a spirited discussion about the impending Presidential Debate in Wisconsin, which is set to kick off a series of debates leading up to voting day. During this conversation, the Ladies reveal the lineup of candidates who will grace the stage, including North Dakota Governor Doug Burgum. They also note that former President Donald Trump will not be present.

Additionally, the Ladies express their concern over reports that Hunter Biden's emails, allegedly connected to his father, President Joe Biden, are raising questions about the President's involvement in Ukraine issues. The question of whether the President can be trusted is brought to the forefront.

Subsequently, the conversation turns to the United States Constitution. The Ladies argue the importance of upholding the Constitution that was established by the founding fathers of the nation. They express their disappointment that many Democrats are allegedly trying to circumvent the original intent of the Constitution. As the discussion wraps up, they take a lighter turn by testing their knowledge on how many states with Native American names they can name.

States whose names come from Native American culture:

  1. Alabama: Named after the Alabama tribe.
  2. Alaska: From an Aleut word meaning "mainland."
  3. Arizona: From an O'odham word meaning "little spring."
  4. Connecticut: From a Mohegan-Pequot word for "long tidal river."
  5. Illinois: Named after the Illiniwek tribe.
  6. Iowa: Named after the Ioway people.
  7. Kansas: Named after the Kansa tribe.
  8. Kentucky: Likely from an Iroquoian word meaning "meadow" or "prairie."
  9. Massachusetts: Named after the Massachusett tribe.
  10. Michigan: From a Ojibwe word meaning "large water" or "large lake."
  11. Minnesota: From a Dakota word for "cloudy water" or "sky-tinted water."
  12. Mississippi: From an Ojibwe word meaning "great river."
  13. Missouri: Named after the Missouri tribe; the word means "town of the large canoes."
  14. Nebraska: From an Otoe word meaning "flat water."
  15. Ohio: From an Iroquoian word meaning "great river."
  16. Oklahoma: Choctaw for "red people."
  17. Tennessee: Of uncertain origin, possibly from a Cherokee village name.
  18. Texas: From a Caddo word meaning "friends" or "allies."
  19. Utah: Named after the Ute tribe, meaning "people of the mountains."
  20. Wisconsin: From a Miami word.
