Insights on ND's Energy Trends and Community Support from WDEA

With valuable insights, he explains how the association works to address infrastructure needs, economic growth, and the overall well-being of these communities.

The WDEA represents the counties, cities, and school districts within North Dakota’s oil, gas, and coal-producing areas, advocating for their needs and ensuring they have the resources to thrive. Membership is open to these energy-rich regions, with associate memberships available for non-energy counties, businesses, and organizations that support WDEA’s mission.

Under Geoff’s leadership, the Bismarck-based WDEA champions initiatives like LoadPass Permits, managed by Treasurer Joelle VanderLinden of H&M Teamworks. This uniform truck permit system streamlines transportation in energy regions, ensuring efficiency and safety.

Geoff’s updates provide a clear understanding of the key issues shaping North Dakota’s energy landscape, making Legislature Today an essential resource for staying informed about the state’s economic and legislative priorities.
