Discussing Nebraska Fires, Royal Scandals, and Economic Shifts

Andrew then pivots to British affairs, commemorating the anniversary of Prince Charles and Princess Diana's divorce. The conversation segues into the controversial figure, Jimmy Savile, a once-beloved British radio and TV personality.

Savile, posthumously embroiled in a slew of sexual misconduct allegations, had connections to the royal family, specifically with Prince Charles during the latter's divorce proceedings. This connection further opens discussions on ties between members of the royal family and controversial figures.

Additionally, the duo addresses pressing economic issues, underscoring that a staggering 80% of currency in circulation has been printed since 2020. The conversation then veers towards environmental concerns, highlighting the often-overlooked waste resulting from obsolete wind turbine blades. A deep dive into conservatism, royal intrigue, economic dynamics, and sustainability, this episode once again proves the commitment of Loos and Henderson to addressing pressing issues with a sharp, conservative lens.

More about Wind Turbines:

Wind turbines, recognized for their durability, feature tall structures and long fiberglass blades, some measuring over half a football field. These blades, built to endure harsh and windy conditions, present a significant challenge at the end of their lifecycle.

Currently, although about 90% of a turbine can be recycled, the blades pose a problem. Constructed from fiberglass bound with epoxy resin, a material known for its strength, these blades are incredibly hard and costly to break down. As a result, most end up in landfills or are incinerated.

This issue has troubled the wind energy industry and has been used as criticism against wind power. Wind turbine blades are generally designed to last 20 to 25 years, meaning many blades being decommissioned today were created decades ago without recycling in mind. Their chemical composition complicates the separation into individual components after their service life, posing an environmental dilemma.
