
Coming Up Jan. 15 on Ladies of Another View: Attorney for MI Citizens Talks Blocking Chinese
The Ladies talk with Robby Dube, the attorney representing the Citizens of Manteno, IL against Gotion, a Chinese company who purchased land in the area for an Electric Car battery plant.
Robby gives a brief update on how he helped the Citizens of Grand Forks take on and beat FuFeng, a Chinese owned wet corn milling plant, which purchased land in Grand Forks, ND, with the intentions of building the plant. He then switches gears to Michigan and Illinois to take on Gotion.
Derrick Braaten, of Braaten Law Firm, also joins the ladies to talk about an upcoming event of the Northwest Landowners Association is putting on to talk about some of the same issues with Chinese land ownership in the United States of America as well as the government claiming "eminent domain." Some of his focus was on the Summit Carbon Solutions CO2 Pipeline.
