BEK TV Shifts Into High Gear with New Sports Coverage - 5 Nights of Dacotah Speedway Racing

Races can be seen live on TV screens across North Dakota on BEK TV.  To find your local channel, visit the BEK TV Channel Guide.  Fans everywhere also can watch live or on-demand on the BEK TV+ app.

Last year, BEK TV aired a single race to gauge viewer interest and received overwhelming support from fans of fast-paced, hometown action. This year’s expanded partnership with Dacotah Speedway highlights BEK TV’s commitment to delivering the kind of local content that North Dakotans crave.

“BEK TV has always delivered what North Dakotans want,” said Jordan Hassler, BEK TV’s Chief Operations Officer. “IMCA Modified and Stock Car racing is hometown, local, emotional content—and it’s fun, family-friendly entertainment.”

The early May race dates are especially important. Spring weather can be unpredictable, but thanks to this partnership, fans can still experience the excitement of Dacotah Speedway, staying connected on chilly early-season races and fired up to join the roar of the crowd when things heat up.

Whether you're a lifelong racing fan or a newcomer looking for thrilling local action, these five nights of dirt-track excitement are not to be missed. Tune in to BEK TV and cheer on your favorite drivers as they battle it out for bragging rights on one of the region’s most iconic tracks.

For more information, visit Dacotah Speedway.

BEK TV is one of the only locally-owned, non-corporate television broadcasting networks remaining in the country and produces more local content than any other television station in the Midwest.  It broadcasts in North Dakota on over-the-air television and across the world via streaming on BEK TV+.

The concept behind BEK TV’s programming is to provide a media service platform that is unscripted and uncensored.  The majority of BEK TV hosts are untrained broadcasters who share their perspectives and views on topics and issues that people are talking about.  The BEK network never controls the messaging.

BEK TV is the 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024 winner of the Bismarck Tribune’s Best of the Best contest, selected by the people for “Best Local TV Station”.  BEK TV host Lori Hinz is the winner of the 2024 “Best TV Personality” award.  Both were chosen by the people.
